Job Summary

Combining expertise in firmware control systems and embedded development, the full-time Electrical Engineer will design and implement innovative lighting solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid remote/in-office work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers, focusing on real-time embedded systems and novel sensor systems
• Engage directly with customers to guide technical design decisions and validate user experience through prototype testing and feedback
• Manage high-uncertainty projects, ensuring effective communication and agile project planning in fast-paced development environments

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, plus 3 years of experience in Embedded Systems Development for Lighting and Appliance Controls
• Expertise in home automation, lighting controls, and appliance controls
• Proficiency in real-time embedded development using C and demonstrated experience in troubleshooting EMI and EMC issues
• Experience in design and review of schematics and PCB layout
• Strong background in analog and digital circuit design, analysis, simulation, testing, and debugging
