Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting the FAA's DCS Battery Program, the full-time Electrical Engineer will manage project portfolios and lifecycle planning for DC Systems Battery projects, oversee budgetary planning, and ensure compliance with government and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain project portfolios and lifecycle replacement planning for DC Systems Battery projects
• Develop and review Requests for Proposal (RFQ) and manage budgetary planning
• Coordinate with facility managers and provide guidance to subcontractors while tracking Operational Risk Management activities

Required qualifications

• BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience in backup power systems design and project management, or 2+ years with a Master's Degree
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with compliance to government and industry standards in engineering designs
