Job Summary
To support the development of innovative energy solutions, the full-time Electrical Engineer II - Texas will design Battery Energy Storage Systems and perform system studies while collaborating with project teams and clients, with the option for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Design Battery Energy Storage Systems and medium voltage systems, including switchgear and distribution systems
- Conduct system studies such as load flow and short circuit analysis while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards
- Coordinate and monitor the design and progress of engineering projects, interacting with clients to interpret their needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Engineering; Master's Degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems, renewable energy, or medium voltage power systems
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification with the ability to obtain a PE license in the future
- Experience in designing medium and low voltage cabling systems and familiarity with switchgear and protection devices
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; experience with system studies software such as CYME or ETAP is a plus
