Electrical Engineer III

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electrical Engineer III (Contractor).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, modification, and evaluation of complex electrical components and systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical designs meet project requirements and standards
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians while acting as the Responsible Engineer (RE) for discrete technical packages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (or Master's degree with 3+ years experience)
• Typically 5+ years of related experience
• Advanced knowledge of electrical fundamentals, tools, methodologies, and principles
• Familiarity with electrical and avionic systems and their functionality
• Intermediate knowledge of systems integration and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
