Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer III - P&C Licensed, this role involves supporting the engineering and design of high-voltage substation Protection & Control systems, with the flexibility of remote work or office locations in Canada and the U.S.
Key responsibilities
- Support the engineering and design of high-voltage substation Protection & Control systems for AIS and GIS substations
- Prepare and review protection and control design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Provide training to junior engineers and assist with utility coordination for renewable energy projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng) license preferred or ability to obtain
- 5+ years of experience in power system engineering and substation protection and controls
- Experience with high-voltage substation P&C design and power system analysis software
- Familiarity with industry standards including IEEE, NERC, NEC, and NESC
