Job Summary
Supporting the engineering and design of high-voltage substation Protection & Control systems, the full-time Electrical Engineer III - PE Licensed will prepare and review design drawings, ensure compliance with industry standards, and assist with project planning and execution, with the option to work remotely or from various office locations in the U.S. and Canada.
Key responsibilities
- Design and review high-voltage substation Protection & Control systems for AIS and GIS substations
- Prepare engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with applicable industry standards
- Provide training to junior engineers and assist with utility coordination for renewable energy projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
- 5+ years of experience in power system engineering and substation protection and controls
- Experience with high-voltage substation P&C design and power system analysis software
- Familiarity with industry standards including IEEE, NERC, NEC, and NESC
