Electrical Engineer Power Supply Design

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Scientist, Power Supply Electrical Engineer (Remote capability).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze AC/DC and DC/DC power converters and EMI filters
• Generate power distribution architectures and create schematics for analog/power circuits
• Conduct peer design reviews and perform analog and power testing in a laboratory setting

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
• Proven experience in designing low and high voltage, high frequency switch mode power supplies
• Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Experience with electrical simulations using tools like SIMPLIS and SPICE
• Familiarity with military standards such as MIL-STD-704 and MIL-STD-461 is a plus
