Electrical Engineer Specialist

Job Summary

Providing specialized technical support in energy storage systems, the mid-level Electrical Engineer Specialist will work remotely on a retainer basis, focusing on the preparation and validation of procurement documentation, supporting the bidding process, and supervising post-award contract compliance for a project involving battery energy storage systems.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to review and update technical specifications and validate procurement budgets
• Participate in the bidding process by reviewing project documents and contributing to the evaluation committee's assessments
• Monitor the quality and compliance of engineering deliverables and oversee the progress of EPC contracts throughout various project phases

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields with 4 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree in the same fields with 2 years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly in generation, transmission, or substations
• Experience in the design, review, or implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Proficiency in Spanish (native) and intermediate English
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is desired
