Electrical Engineer with EIT License

Job Summary

To support critical power infrastructure projects, the remote Electrical Engineer with EIT License will perform power system studies, analyze electrical models, and provide design recommendations for high-voltage transmission lines and substations in a full-time capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Perform power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, and transient stability analyses
• Support transmission line and substation design through study-driven recommendations for equipment ratings and system configuration
• Develop and review electrical system models using software tools such as ETAP, ASPEN OneLiner, and CYME

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems concentration preferred)
• 2-5 years of experience performing electrical studies for transmission and/or substation projects
• Proficiency with power system analysis software platforms (ETAP, ASPEN, CYME, PSS E, PSCAD, etc.)
• Strong understanding of transmission and substation design principles and protection coordination
• EIT certification required; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
