Electrical Engineering Consultant

Job Summary

To support the continued growth of the consulting group, the full-time remote Electrical Engineering Consultant will manage electrical power projects, including preparing and reviewing EPC RFP packages, evaluating proposals, and providing technical support during contract negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review EPC RFP packages and associated technical specifications
• Evaluate EPC proposals to assist in the selection of preferred contractors
• Provide technical support during negotiations of EPC contracts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design of utility-scale power/storage projects
• Experience in power projects as part of an EPC team or as an Owner's Engineer is a plus
• Auxiliary power system design experience, preferably in gas-fired combined cycle
• Experience with automation and AI tools in engineering workflows is valued
• Additional learning in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or Software Engineering is a plus
