Electrical Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electrical Estimator responsible for preparing estimates for photovoltaic solar and battery energy storage systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
• Prepare estimates by completing takeoffs and itemizing necessary incidentals for bid packages
• Collaborate with project teams and supervise estimating staff as needed

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of electrical estimating or related experience
• Understanding of substation, transmission, switchyard, and energy storage design
• Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Excel; familiarity with Accubid preferred
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
