Electrical Estimator

Job Summary

To support the growth of renewable energy projects, the full-time Electrical Estimator will develop accurate estimates for utility-scale solar and battery storage projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams, with remote work options available.

Key responsibilities

• Refine estimating processes and templates to enhance accuracy and efficiency for solar and battery storage construction
• Develop and maintain project cost estimates aligned with RFP requirements from conceptual to advanced design stages
• Collaborate with various teams to create bid strategies and optimize project costs while identifying risks and mitigation strategies

Required qualifications

• Experience in large electrical commercial or renewable energy construction projects
• Knowledge of cost estimating best practices and tools, such as Accubid or InEight
• Proficiency with takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam) and ability to interpret complex project documentation
• Strong understanding of construction management principles and project complexities
• Demonstrated ability to develop and refine estimating processes
