Electrical Test Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Test Technician to support VFD products and ensure compliance with design verification requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support design engineers with development activities, including component evaluation, prototype assembly, and product verification testing for VFDs
• Execute product and prototype testing according to approved specifications and analyze results for compliance
• Prepare and maintain accurate test reports, data records, and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience
• Hands-on experience with UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing for VFD products
• Working knowledge of variable frequency drive (VFD) design and operation
• Proficiency in operating laboratory test equipment and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic and electrical circuits
