Job Summary
A company is looking for an Electricity Markets Modeler and Software Developer II/III.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop state-of-the-art energy system modeling techniques and software for analysis of renewable energy systems
- Apply tools to conduct analysis across various energy system models and market structures
- Collaborate with a diverse team to innovate and push boundaries in integrated grid systems analysis
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree or relevant Bachelor's degree with experience in engineering technical standards
- Proficiency in collaborative software development with Python, Julia, or similar languages
- Experience with GitHub, software development best practices, and unit testing
- Knowledge of power systems modeling and/or analysis
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
