Job Summary

A company is looking for an Electronic Health Records Technician, Hospital Scanner, fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Index documents into Epic from outpatient and physician practices
• Store, retrieve, review, assess, and process health-related information in both paper and electronic formats
• Serve as a resource for patient care teams to improve documentation practices compliant with guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• No experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training provided
• Desired: One year of Health Information Management (HIM) experience
• High School Diploma or GED; Associate Degree preferred
• Registered Health Information Technician certification is a plus
