Electrophysiologist Physician Advisor

Job Summary

To support a venture capital fund, the part-time Electrophysiologist Physician Advisor will provide clinical insights on cardiac electrophysiology, evaluate healthcare technologies, and guide portfolio companies remotely for approximately 2-3 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate startups focusing on electrophysiology, including arrhythmia diagnosis and remote monitoring
• Assess investment opportunities in digital health, cardiac monitoring, and medical technology
• Advise portfolio companies on clinical implementation, device integration, and regulatory considerations

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with training in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Active clinical practice preferred
• Strong understanding of electrophysiology workflows and arrhythmia management
• Familiarity with medical devices, reimbursement, and regulatory dynamics
• Interest in digital health and venture capital
