Job Summary

An educational institution is seeking an Adjunct Instructor for Introductory Instructional Methods for Elementary Reading and Writing.

Responsibilities:

Equip students with necessary skills and facilitate classroom discussions
Assess student performance and prepare them for leadership roles
Survey instructional approaches and materials to design a comprehensive curriculum

Qualifications:

Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related field and valid state teacher certification
Minimum: Masters in Reading or related field and valid state teacher certification in literacy/reading or secondary education endorsement in literacy/reading
Minimum of three years of elementary experience and at least six graduate level credit hours related to elementary literacy or reading
