Elementary Special Education Teacher

Job Summary

A company in the education industry is looking for a remote Elementary Special Education Teacher.

Position Responsibilities

• Design and execute individualized education plans for students with disabilities, while complying with state and federal regulations
• Deliver effective instruction using various online and virtual platforms to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students with disabilities
• Collaborate with parents, fellow educators, and other relevant parties to identify and address the unique needs of students with disabilities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education and Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education
• Valid Missouri Special Education teaching certification
• Minimum 2 years experience in Special Education (preferably through online platform)
• Experience working with online telepractice programs (i.e., Zoom, Google Meets, Teams, etc.)
• Reliable home internet and Wi-Fi system with equipment for remote work
