Job Summary

A company in the education industry is looking for a remote Elementary Special Education Teacher.

Position Responsibilities

Design and execute individualized education plans for students with disabilities, while complying with state and federal regulations
Deliver effective instruction using various online and virtual platforms to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students with disabilities
Collaborate with parents, fellow educators, and other relevant parties to identify and address the unique needs of students with disabilities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in education and Master's or Doctoral degree in Special Education
Valid Missouri Special Education teaching certification
Minimum 2 years experience in Special Education (preferably through online platform)
Experience working with online telepractice programs (i.e., Zoom, Google Meets, Teams, etc.)
Reliable home internet and Wi-Fi system with equipment for remote work
