Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist will provide enrollment assistance and information regarding the HIPP/Premium Assistance program to Medicaid eligible recipients, verify healthcare coverage, and maintain accurate case documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide enrollment assistance and program information over the phone to Medicaid recipients and their families
• Verify and document healthcare coverage for Medicaid recipients and assist in identifying members qualifying for the HIPP/Premium Assistance program
• Perform data entry and maintain active cases during open enrollment and premium reviews

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry, healthcare, or government-sponsored health insurance
• At least 2 years of phone-based experience, including handling inbound and making outbound calls
• Call center experience is preferred
• Bilingual skills are preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare terminology is a plus
