Job Summary
A company is looking for an Eligibility Coordinator to manage insurance eligibility processes in a remote role.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and manage telephone communications with staff and insurance representatives
- Ensure accurate documentation and updates regarding insurance eligibility for all patients
- Participate in employee orientation and education related to the Eligibility department
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in health care billing and/or authorization practices
- General knowledge of home care operations and third-party reimbursement
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
