Eligibility Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Eligibility Representative for their Revenue Cycle team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and correct patients' insurance and policy information in an accurate and timely manner
• Identify system failures related to payer mapping and build errors
• Work collaboratively with off-shore team members to improve eligibility performance and reduce denials

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical billing and eligibility practices, medical terminology, and claim processing requirements
• Insurance Payer/Plan knowledge including BUCHA Payers, Workers Comp, Auto
• Experience with insurance payers' eligibility requirements and common issues
• Experience with insurance payer portals, eligibility verification, and eligibility response information
• Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
