Job Summary

Providing high-quality customer service, the fixed-term Eligibility Specialist will verify benefits and eligibility for patients, assist with reimbursement inquiries, and manage incoming calls from various stakeholders in a dynamic, call center environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Review and confirm completeness of incoming referrals and FDA requirements
  • Assist with reimbursement inquiries, including insurance verification and prior authorizations
  • Conduct payer research and maintain accurate documentation of all inquiries
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with databases
  • Knowledge of health insurance claims, billing, coding, and medical terminology
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with other departments
