Eligibility Verification Supervisor

Job Summary

To enhance the efficiency of the eligibility and benefits verification process, the full-time remote Eligibility Verification Supervisor will oversee daily operations, manage team performance, and implement automation tools while ensuring accurate verification of insurance coverage for patients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversees daily workflow and prioritizes tasks for the eligibility and benefits verification team to ensure timely and accurate insurance verification
• Serves as the primary escalation point for complex verification issues and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve eligibility-related problems
• Leads the implementation and optimization of AI-powered automation tools, providing training and support to staff on new technologies

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred
• Five years of healthcare revenue cycle experience, including two years in insurance eligibility and benefits verification
• One year of supervisory or team lead experience required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and payer eligibility portals required
• Experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with AI-assisted automation tools preferred
