Ellucian Banner Developer
Job Summary
To support a growing IT services practice, the full-time Ellucian Banner Developer will design and build custom reports and integrations within the Ellucian Banner system while working remotely on an initial 12-month contract with strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance custom reports, extracts, and interfaces within the Ellucian Banner system
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot Banner APIs and integration processes using PL/SQL, Web Services, Unix scripting, and Python
- Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Ellucian Banner
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL development, Python scripting, Web Services and API integrations, and Unix/Linux scripting
- Experience developing in all major Banner modules (Student, HR, Financials)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
