Job Summary

We are actively recruiting for an email marketing and social media manager to support the growth of 'We Are Working'; a B2B outsourcing brand.

The ideal candidate has platform experience with Active Campaign, LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc. working in campaign management, organic social media and other marketing channels that service the Business-to-Business Community.

You will build and execute campaigns and work to develop scalable processes that ensure best practices in lead generation and database management. The role requires the ability to gather customer feedback and conduct data analysis that will be used to inform strategic decisions by key stakeholders in the company. You will be working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects at once, partnering with both internal and external colleagues.

Responsibilities:

Operations

-Manages technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, CRM, social media platforms) used to launch campaigns that generate, distribute, and report on leads
-Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign management, lead management and conversion rate optimization
-Creates and maintains metrics reports on marketing and sales activities
-Provides insights that highlight effectiveness and business impact
-Analyzes marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations that inform business decisions
-Monitors and maintains branded assets, customer/community feedback, competition and data quality within the social media platforms and the marketing database
-Evaluates new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance

Email Marketing

-Manages and builds various email lists and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in your email sends
-Segments lists based on behaviors such as past media consumption, email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.)
-Measures results and optimizes the nurture tracks for these segments to convert leads to customers
-Works to minimize list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of our email sends
-Develops documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and messaging that succeeds through email

Social Media

-Generates, edits, and publishes daily content
-Works with Marketing colleagues to create all organic posts to be on brand while speaking to our social media audience. Includes sourcing UGC, creating graphics, animated GIFs, videos, and other visual content that aligns with the user habits within each community
-Collaborates with influencers to drive brand advocacy and engagement
-Partners with colleagues to develop integrated campaigns that support the brand's marketing strategy and help to achieve We Are Working's marketing goals
-Develops reports on emerging social media trends and summarizes insights that will be submitted to leadership team
-Monitors the company's social media accounts, communities and competitors. Offers constructive interaction with users
-Creates methods for finding and saving online customer reviews that can be shared on social media platforms
-Develops a plan to harness the power of employee brand advocacy through social sharing with an easy to monitor and use program
-Analyzes the long-term needs of the company's social media strategy and offer quarterly reports as well as examples of competitor campaigns

Requirements

3-5+ years experience as an email marketing, content marketing, social media or digital marketing specialist at a reputable consulting, outsourcing or business services company
Experience with data-driven analysis and optimization
Excellent communicator with ability to sell and convince
Excellent writing, editing, presentation and communication skills
Proficiency in marketing automation (Active Campaign, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Yeti SMS, Salesforce, fluency preferred).
Excellent project manager
Ability to create clear briefs for graphic designers
Capable of juggling multiple projects at once, attention to detail, great task manager
Knowledge of the various paid marketing channels and technologies, including paid search (Google Ads), retargeting, social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and more), and content distribution and placement networks
Data driven marketer, with strong eye for metrics
