Email Deliverability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in the Americas, the full-time Email Deliverability Engineer will manage core components for sending transactional and marketing emails, focusing on email deliverability, reputation management, and diagnosing delivery issues.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain systems for managing email deliverability and reputation
• Analyze and diagnose provider-specific delivery issues, translating findings into actionable metrics and policies
• Collaborate with engineering, support, and product teams to enhance email sending capabilities and resolve deliverability challenges

Required qualifications

• Experience in email deliverability, reputation management, or high-volume email systems
• Understanding of IP reputation, domain reputation, and email authentication protocols (DKIM, SPF, DMARC)
• Familiarity with major mailbox providers and their behavior regarding email delivery
• Experience operating shared and dedicated IP pools and managing IP warmup programs
• Ability to create deliverability metrics, dashboards, and automated enforcement systems
