Email Developer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a freelance basis, the part-time Email Developer will take ownership of an AI-enabled email development platform, optimizing HTML capabilities and ensuring high production quality of emails while collaborating with design and marketing technology teams.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and build a modular component library using MJML or HTML for email production
- Establish a QA workflow to ensure email rendering across major email service providers and meet accessibility requirements
- Create developer documentation and conduct training sessions for team members
Required qualifications
- 6-8+ years of email development experience
- Deep expertise in HTML/CSS email development and MJML
- Production experience with Iterable and/or HubSpot
- Experience building and maintaining email component libraries or design systems
- Strong understanding of email rendering across major clients, especially Outlook
