Email Developer - Maropost

Job Summary

To support an ecommerce client's migration from Mandrill to Maropost, the contract Email Developer - Maropost will build and deploy approximately 100 transactional and lifecycle marketing emails, utilizing Liquid-based templates and modular components, while working remotely on a full-time basis.

Key responsibilities

• Build and deploy ~100 transactional and lifecycle emails in Maropost, including order confirmations and promotional campaigns
• Develop a reusable, modular component library and a global header/footer system aligned with the client's design system
• Audit existing Mandrill email flows and migrate them to Maropost, ensuring integration with Shopify triggers

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on email development experience with production builds inside an ESP
• Direct experience with Maropost strongly preferred, or experience with similar platforms like Klaviyo or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Prior experience executing an ESP migration, ideally from Mandrill
• Strong command of Liquid templating and expert-level HTML/CSS for email
• Experience integrating an ESP with Shopify or comparable ecommerce platforms
