Email Production Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a self-starting Production Specialist for a remote contract position with flexible hours, who will manage email production tasks, including building fundraising emails and automations, while supporting client newsrooms and organizations during critical moments.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and manage email-related work, including building and updating email automations and standalone fundraising emails for clients
• Review email builds for accuracy and effectiveness, ensuring segmentation and outcomes align with client goals
• Create and maintain documentation to support internal colleagues and enhance client expertise in email marketing

Required qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in email marketing or related production work
• Familiarity with multiple email service providers, particularly Mailchimp, Active Campaign, and Beehiiv
• Experience in running and analyzing A/B tests for emails
• Knowledge of email marketing elements such as deliverability and analytics
• Ability to self-motivate, self-manage, and work effectively in a remote environment
