Email & SMS Marketing Specialist
Job Summary
Owning the day-to-day execution and growth of owned-channel messaging, the remote Email & SMS Marketing Specialist will manage email and SMS campaigns, design automated customer journeys, and integrate AI for performance optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Create, schedule, and send email and SMS campaigns, including managing 2-3 recurring daily newsletters
- Design and implement lifecycle programs, owning the journey logic and automation behind them
- Build and launch new newsletters from scratch using platforms like CleverTap and beehiiv
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or CRM marketing, preferably in finance, gaming, or consumer products
- Hands-on experience designing and building automated flows, including segmentation and trigger logic
- Data-fluent with the ability to pull and interpret performance data independently
- Experience with CleverTap, beehiiv, or similar email/SMS platforms is a plus
- Demonstrable experience starting and growing an email newsletter from scratch
