Embedded Controls Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an FSOC Embedded Controls Engineer to develop and implement adaptive optics systems for laser communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on the development of real-time wavefront estimation and correction subsystems
• Contribute to analysis methods, software tools, and DSP algorithms for adaptive optics systems
• Develop real-time control system software and manage the full lifecycle of control system development

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in relevant engineering discipline with 3+ years of experience in adaptive optics
• Proficiency in control design analysis and simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink
• Experience with non-linear systems and closed-loop control stability techniques
• Expertise in implementing and debugging Control Laws and Digital Signal Processing in embedded C code
• Demonstrated experience in transitioning research to real-world applications
