Embedded Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Embedded Firmware Engineer (Zephyr / BMC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop low-level embedded firmware for next-gen interconnects (PCIe, CXL, USB4)
• Support pre-silicon validation, post-silicon bring-up, and production
• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and firmware teams
• Debug and resolve firmware issues through the full product lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of embedded firmware or device driver development experience
• Experience with Zephyr RTOS and bare-metal bring-up
• Strong knowledge of MCTP / PLDM and BMC firmware (OpenBMC or equivalent)
• Proficiency in C; C++/Python experience is a plus
• Familiarity with low-level protocols (I2C, SPI, PCIe, UART, JTAG)
