Embedded Linux Audio Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Embedded Audio Firmware Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-performance audio applications and libraries for Embedded Linux platforms
• Research and implement new audio technologies and features to enhance products and services
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to deliver quality products and troubleshoot audio-related issues

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of embedded systems development experience
• Strong C / C++ programming skills
• Experience with Real Time Operating Systems, especially Embedded Linux and FreeRTOS
• Ability to read and evaluate schematics and diagnose hardware issues using appropriate tools
• Familiarity with audio communication standards such as ALSA, Ethernet, WiFi/Bluetooth, and USB stacks
