Embedded Software Developer
Job Summary
To enhance product capabilities, the full-time Embedded Software Developer will develop and improve embedded graphics and compute drivers, customize products for new embedded hardware and real-time operating systems, and work collaboratively to produce reliable, high-quality safety-critical solutions in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and improve embedded graphics and compute drivers
- Customize products for new embedded hardware and real-time operating systems
- Profile and optimize drivers and applications while writing and reviewing technical specifications
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in software development using C/C++
- Experience with embedded operating systems such as Lynx, VxWorks, Linux, or Deos
- Experience developing, debugging, and troubleshooting embedded Vulkan, OpenGL, or OpenCL drivers
- Familiarity with ARINC 653 and experience with DO-178 or ISO26262 software development is an asset
