Embedded Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to design and implement firmware for autonomous vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, build, and test production embedded vehicle firmware
- Evaluate, implement, test, and optimize applications in a real-time operating system environment
- Collaborate with various engineering teams throughout the vehicle lifecycle, from device bring-up to software deployment
Required Qualifications
- Expert level knowledge of C or C++ programming
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols (SPI, UART, CAN, TCP/UDP)
- Experience with RTOS environments, particularly FreeRTOS/SafeRTOS
- Experience with safety-critical systems and processes
- Familiarity with electronics test equipment and hardware debugging
