Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a remote Embedded Software Verification & Validation Engineer, the position focuses on performing requirements-based unit tests for embedded software on a nuclear power plant control system, adhering to NQA-1 safety standards and DO-178 guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing controls/monitoring software and low-level requirements-based tests for full-coverage LDRA verification procedures
• Coordinating with customers to ensure complete test coverage and accurate communication of test findings
• Executing tests in the LDRA test setup on both simulated and on-target environments while reviewing test results for debugging purposes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, electrical, software engineering, or a related technical field
• 5 years of experience in low-level software requirements-based testing
• 2 years of experience testing with LDRA or similar tools (e.g., VectorCAST)
• Proficiency in C programming and emphasis on Python development, particularly in UI building
• Experience with requirements-based testing under DO-178B/C or other safety-critical process standards
