Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Embedded Software Engineer - Processing & Algorithms, the successful candidate will design and develop software for processing pipelines, signal, image, and EO/IR processing algorithms for spacecraft, while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable software for processing pipelines and interfacing with imaging and data sensors
• Support the development of detection and tracking algorithms and participate in software design and code reviews
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers while identifying areas for software improvement

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of embedded software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Proficiency in C/C++ with experience in embedded topics and interfacing with data sensors
• Experience developing EO/IR, signal, or image processing algorithms
• Familiarity with embedded operating systems and build systems, including OpenEmbedded/Yocto and FreeRTOS
