Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with an Agile Scrum team, the full-time remote Embedded Software Engineer will analyze software requirements, design, implement, and test embedded software for SATCOM modems while also mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements and design high-level and low-level architecture
• Implement, test, and integrate embedded software while preparing user documentation
• Collaborate with team members to track and complete software development tasks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of design and implementation experience with embedded software in C/C++
• Minimum of 2 years of experience using Linux OS in an embedded environment
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP and common network configurations
• Experience with Agile Scrum development methodologies
