Embedded Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing renewable energy initiative, the full-time Embedded Software Engineer will design, build, and scale connected hardware for the Energy Network, focusing on device connectivity, security, and cloud integration in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain device connectivity using various protocols such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and BLE
• Contribute to secure device management and firmware update processes, ensuring robust security practices
• Integrate devices with cloud IoT platforms while enhancing telemetry and operational resilience

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience in building connected embedded products
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems, with experience in RTOS environments
• Experience with Python for testing, tooling, or automation
• Solid understanding of device connectivity and networking fundamentals
