Embedded Software Engineer II

Job Summary

To support the development of unmanned robotic vehicles, the fully remote Embedded Software Engineer II will participate in the full software development life cycle, focusing on requirements development, design, implementation, testing, and support of embedded software.

Key responsibilities

• Develop features for embedded applications and troubleshoot reported software defects
• Participate in system-level engineering and integration, ensuring smooth software integration
• Support deployed systems in field or test environments while adhering to best practices in software development

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 2-5 years of professional experience designing and implementing embedded, real-time software using C/C++
• Familiarity with large, multithreaded embedded applications running on RTOS
• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
• U.S. work authorization required
