Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Embedded Software V&V Engineer will perform requirements-based unit tests for embedded software on a nuclear power plant control system, ensuring compliance with NQA-1 safety standards and DO-178 guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing low-level requirements-based tests and generating full-coverage LDRA verification procedures
- Coordinating with the customer to ensure full test coverage and accurate communication of test findings
- Executing tests in the LDRA test setup and reviewing test results to identify and report discrepancies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in aerospace, electrical, software engineering, or a related field
- 5 years of experience performing low-level software requirements-based testing
- 2 years of testing experience with LDRA or similar tools (e.g., VectorCAST)
- Proficiency in C programming and emphasis on Python development, particularly in UI building
- Experience with requirements-based testing under DO-178B/C or other safety-critical process standards
