Job Summary
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses remotely, the part-time Faculty in Emergency Management will engage with students, facilitate discussions, and provide timely feedback while collaborating with faculty to enhance the learning experience.
Key responsibilities
- Teach and instruct courses, ensuring student engagement and course completion
- Conduct weekly outreach to students and facilitate discussion boards
- Serve as a subject matter expert, assisting with curriculum maintenance and academic integrity issues
Required qualifications
- Possess a terminal degree or master's degree in the teaching discipline or a closely related field
- Have a minimum of 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline for certain qualifications
- Demonstrate at least two years of experience in the teaching discipline for undergraduate courses or five years for graduate courses
- Experience teaching at the college/university level is preferred
- Ability to provide and utilize personal equipment, including a computer and reliable internet access
