Job Summary
Leading a dedicated team, the full-time Emergency Management Project Manager will serve as the primary liaison for a government contract, overseeing project performance and ensuring the quality and timeliness of services delivered to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact between the contractor and the government Contracting Officer, ensuring effective communication
- Oversee all contractor work under the Statement of Work, managing project schedules, resources, and deliverables
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of consultants, analysts, and subject matter experts, resolving technical issues and client requests promptly
Required qualifications
- A Master's degree
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, business operations, and government operations
- Proven supervisory or team lead experience
- Expert knowledge of emergency management and response operations
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
