Emergency Medicine Physician Advisor

Job Summary

To support a venture capital fund's investment strategy, the part-time Emergency Medicine Physician Advisor will provide clinical insights, evaluate healthcare technologies, and guide portfolio companies remotely for approximately 2-3 hours per month.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate startups through the lens of emergency care, focusing on triage and patient flow
• Assess investment opportunities in AI diagnostics, tele-triage, and acute care technologies
• Advise founders on emergency department workflows and hospital integration

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with Emergency Medicine training
• Active clinical practice preferred
• Strong understanding of emergency department workflows and hospital systems
• Familiarity with reimbursement and regulatory dynamics
• Interest in digital health and venture capital
