Emergency Medicine Physician Advisor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced emergency medicine physicians, the part-time Emergency Medicine Physician Advisor will provide clinical and strategic insights to evaluate and support healthcare startups remotely, focusing on areas such as emergency care delivery, digital health, and operational strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clinical and strategic guidance on healthcare startups related to emergency medicine and acute care
• Support evaluation of healthcare startups, including business models and clinical relevance
• Advise on emergency medicine workflows and commercialization strategies for portfolio companies

Required qualifications

• MD or DO with experience practicing emergency medicine
• Board certification or board eligibility in emergency medicine preferred
• Experience in clinical operations, digital health, or healthcare innovation preferred
• Strong understanding of emergency department workflows and patient flow
• Ability to commit approximately 2-4 hours per month to advisory activities
