Job Summary
Providing operational support to the Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety teams, the full-time Emergency Preparedness Coordinator will manage data tracking, report publishing, policy research, and project coordination while working remotely from the Puget Sound Region.
Key responsibilities
- Develops and reviews policies and procedures, leading department quality initiatives and managing updates for the Executive On Call program
- Coordinates project management efforts for departmental initiatives, ensuring effective evaluation of local needs
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion while handling sensitive information and provides strong customer service support
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in safety, emergency management, project management, or a healthcare setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to travel and work non-standard hours as needed
