Emergency Roadside Telephone Responder

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Emergency Roadside Telephone Responder will manage high-volume incoming calls from AAA Members seeking roadside assistance, utilizing sound judgment and empathy to provide exceptional customer service while accurately documenting member needs and locations.

Key responsibilities:

• Answer and manage 40-60 incoming calls daily, providing assistance and information to AAA Members in need of roadside support
• Accurately input member details and utilize online mapping tools to assess breakdown locations and service requirements
• Identify and prioritize situations requiring special handling, ensuring clear communication regarding service details and estimated arrival times

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One year of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment
• Stable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet workspace free from distractions
• Successful completion of a three-week virtual training program
• Familiarity with maps and map reading preferred
