Emerging Companies Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing roster of startup clients, the full-time Emerging Companies Attorney will run venture financings, formations, and equity issuances, serving as the primary point of contact while utilizing AI-native workflows to enhance efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Run venture financings, formations, and related matters for companies and investors from start to finish
• Advise founders and management teams on corporate, employment, IP, and governance issues throughout various growth stages
• Negotiate with investor and company counsel, leveraging knowledge of market terms to facilitate efficient deal-making

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of emerging companies or venture capital experience at a reputable firm
• Solid working knowledge of NVCA documents, SAFEs, convertible notes, and corporate governance issues
• Admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and in good standing
• Experience with modern AI tools applied to legal work
• Proven ability to handle deals independently without extensive oversight
