Emissions Modeler State Licensing Not Required

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Emissions Modeler.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiating, designing, developing, executing, and implementing scientific research projects
• Planning and conducting scientific testing and preparing comprehensive technical reports, data reports, and other publications
• Developing theories for understanding, characterizing, and organizing natural phenomena into a systematic and meaningful pattern for research into new process methods

Required Qualifications:

• BS, MS, or PhD in computer science, meteorology, or other scientific/mathematical field + 3 yrs experience
• Prior experience with emissions models such as SMOKE
• Experience working in a Linux operating system environment
• Working knowledge of Unix scripting languages (e.g. bash, csh, sed, awk, perl)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
