Job Summary
Supporting the well-being of the University community, the full-time Employee Assistance Consultant will provide confidential counseling, consultation, and referral services to faculty, staff, and their families while participating in outreach and operational assistance in a hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver intake, assessment, short-term counseling, and referral services under supervision
- Participate in case consultation and complete clinical documentation
- Support FEAP education, outreach, and promotional events
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Health, Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
- Experience conducting intake assessments and providing short-term counseling in a behavioral health or related setting
- Basic knowledge of clinical documentation standards and confidentiality requirements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation after adequate training
